Amazon adds two Go stores on opposite coasts

Amazon.com Inc. has added two Go stores to its fleet, bringing the total number of queue-less locations to 15. One of the new locations is in Midtown Manhattan and spans 1,450 square feet. This is the third New York City Go store. The other new location is in San Francisco and measures 2,125 square feet. Both stores offer staples, meals and snacks, including Amazon Meal Kits. This is the fourth Amazon Go store in San Francisco. Amazon stock, which suffered its longest losing streak in 13 years as of the close of Monday trading, is still up 17.5% for the year to date. The S&P 500 index has gained 13.5% for 2019 so far.
