Can Anyone Explain This To Me???

I have been an A's fan since they were in Kansas City and I like to think that I am a very perceptive baseball fan; however I am completely baffled by Profar still being the every day second baseman. If I were the GM (we would probably be in last place every year), I would have brought up Mateo or Nuese a couple of weeks ago to play there...until I found one of them to stick.

I am more than willing to accept a reasonable explanation....anyone have one?
