ADT shares dip 1% after mixed second-quarter results
ADT Inc. shares dipped 1% in a volatile extended session Tuesday after the security provider posted mixed second-quarter financial results. The company lost $104 million in the quarter, or 14 cents a share. Revenue rose 13% year-over-year to $1.284 billion, and ADT slightly raised its full-year guidance to $5 billion to $5.15 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated net income of 16 cents a share on revenue of $1.246 billion. ADT stock is down 8% this year, with the S&P 500 index gaining 15%.
