Navy veteran charged with kidnapping, killing woman won't face death penalty

If a Navy veteran ever stands trial on charges he abducted a 19-year-old woman from a military base in 2017 before she was found dead in North Carolina, federal prosecutors will not seek the death penalty, they said Tuesday.
