Wild weather expected to ease for south east
Snow, hail and strong winds lashing parts of south east Australia are expected to ease on Sunday as emergency services attend to those affected by the wild weather.
The SES has received just under 2,200 calls for help from across NSW as trees topple and property is damaged.
Volunteers are attending to motorists stranded on roads between Orange in the state's central west and the Southern Highlands.
Snow has fallen as low as 600 metres above sea level.
