Megan Barton-Hanson mistaken for Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Kim Kardashian with extremely bronzed look in Instagram snap
MEGAN Barton-Hanson has been mistaken for Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Kim Kardashian by her 1.8 million Instagram today.
The Love Island star, 25, unveiled her bold brunette lob late last month and now her fans have been bowled over by her striking similarity to the two reality stars after she shared a selfie.
In the selfie, the Celebs Go Dating star showcased her sleek locks and dramatic beauty look, which had many followers commenting under the photo about how much she looked like the American beauty mogul, 38.
One penned: “Meg Kardashian Kim who??”
“U look like @kimkardashian here @meganbartonhanson_ so pretty”(sic), another wrote. “KIM K WHO?”.
A fourth shared: “Thought u was kim Kardashian 4 a minute then! Loving the look x” (sic).
“@meganbartonhanson_ you are morphing into Kim k,” a fan shared. “Very Kim kardashian I love it!!!”
Another echoed many other fans’ thoughts and commented: “Literally thought you were Kim k for a hot second..”
Despite the initial comments about her striking resemblance to Kim, a couple of followers likened her to fellow Love Island contestant Maura, 28.
“Does anyone else think she looks like @maurahiggins?” one asked.
A second penned: “Maura? Hehe”.
But that wasn’t all as she was also compared to a young Angelina Jolie, supermodel Cindy Crawford and Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson.
Megan’s selfie comes after she took aim at ex Wes Nelson on Celebs Go Dating – calling him a “budget Chris Brown”.
The reality star slamed her former boyfriend while on a date with a girl, comparing him to a bargain bin version of the R&B singer.
“Basically, I feel like he wanted to have his cake and eat it,” Megan sighs. “He wanted to have me there, and date me, but also like, he’s living the life of a budget version of Chris Brown. He was loving life!”
Megan and Wes broke up earlier this year after she caught him texting another Love Islander – Amber Davies – behind her back and after he grew close to his Dancing On Ice skating partner Vanessa Bauer.
They looked set to rekindle their romance when Megan discovered he had been sending “rude messages” to Amber.

However she’s adamant she eventually wants to settle down with a woman because they’re “better in bed” and she has “deeper connections” with them.
“I just felt like I needed to get with a guy because society said so but after the s*** I’ve been through, I just want to see how it goes with a woman,” Megan said, as she revealed enjoying her first same-sex relationship as a teenager at college.
“I think long-term I would get with a woman, but it’s hard. I really want kids, so that’s something I’d need to look into when the time comes.”
