Still confused about this.

So i know EFL clubs are allowed 8 loans in total.

I thought (was fairly certain) that a club can only have a maximum of 5 loan players in a match day squad.

Well thats clearly 6.

So does that mean one has to miss out?

I've read some say Illan Meslier doesnt count because he is a foreign loan but didnt the rules change to stop teams doing what Watford did and basically loaning the Udinese team?

I'm fairly sure the limit is 5 in which case its another idiotic part of our recruitment.

People say we may get injuries but if the injuries are to our non loans then what happens?

But does anyone know the answer for certain?

Is the limit 5 or do foreign loans not count?
