PGA Tour golfers sound off on Bryson DeChambeau's agonizingly slow play

A pair of exhausting Bryson DeChambeau lowlights from his second round at The Northern Trust went viral on social media Friday, and the clips seemed to push several golfers upset over the ongoing issue of slow play to a breaking point.

The PGA Tour has repeatedly insisted that it’s working to improve the pace of play, but slow players like J.B. Holmes and DeChambeau continue to go unpunished. Holmes infuriated viewers and players alike earlier this year at the Genesis Open, and again in the final round of the British Open, where he was ripped by Brooks Koepka.

On Friday, DeChambeau was caught on camera taking several minutes from the time he arrived at his ball to hit a relatively straightforward approach shot.

On the eighth green, took a full two minutes to read and consider a putt inside of 10 feet, which he went on to miss after the long delay. Playing partner Justin Thomas was visibly annoyed as DeChambeau took the time to view the putt at every possible angle.
