Villa midfielder left surprised by what he found in Tottenham’s away dressing room
After travelling to the likes of Rotherham United, Millwall and Bolton Wanderers last season, Aston Villa secured a place back in the top flight after navigating their way through the play offs.
Villa’s reward for their return to the Premier League was an opening fixture against Tottenham Hotspur at the new state of the art 62,062 capacity seater stadium.
Before the match, Villa midfielder John McGinn spoke to Sky Sports touchline reporter Patrick Davison and revealed that he was surprised by what he found inside the away dressing room.
McGinn joked that there was even luxury products from Molton Brown in the changing room which is something he has never seen before.

The 24-year-old certainly showed his abilty to become a respected Premier League player with his performance for Villa which saw him score the opening goal of the match when he got in behind the Spurs defence to show good composure to slot the ball beyond Hugo Lloris.
Thankfully, there was no upset for Spurs who ended up 3-1 winners to register their first three points of the new campaign.
