Celebs Go Dating star Sam Thompson returning to Made In Chelsea for showdown with Jamie Laing
MADE in Chelsea favourite Sam Thompson is making a surprise return for a showdown with Jamie Laing, The Sun Online can exclusively reveal.
The 26-year-old quit the show after six years following his split from co-star Sophie Habboo.
She is now in a relationship with his close friend Jamie Laing who risked their friendship by pursuing the romance.
It’s thought the pair are no longer on speaking terms – and Sam is returning to confront the love rat on-screen.
A sneak peak at the new series advert for the E4 today shows a video montage of old pictures of the cast .
It kicks off with Jamie on his first day of school and ends with him and Sophie sharing a kiss.
Meanwhile Sam is spotted topless with Jamie drinking from a coconut and hugging Mark-Francis Vandelli in the flashback photos.
The new series is set to put Sam and Jamie’s relationship to the test as they come face-to-face for the first time in months.
Thankfully former commitment-phobe Sam – who starred in not one, but two series of Celebs Go Dating – has found love with Love Island beauty Zara McDermott.
She recently threw him a surprise birthday party and he announced to a room full of his family and friends that he was in love.
They’ve gone from strength to strength since swapping messages on social media and are currently on holiday ahead of Sam’s return to Made in Chelsea.
He is rejoining the BAFTA-award winning show alongside old faces Victoria Baker-Harber, Oliver Proudlock and Emily Blackwell who will also be making guest appearances.
The familiar cast Olivia Bentley, Alex Mytton, Mark Francis Vandelli, Miles Nazaire, James Taylor, Sophie Hermann, Harry Barron and Melissa Tattam, Fredrick Ferrier and Eliza Batten are all heading back too.

Jamie is back filming ahead of his Strictly Come Dancing experience.
Yesterday his girlfriend Sophie was forced to deny they’ve broken up after rumours they’d been struck by the show “curse” before it had even started.
It was understood Sophie decided to cut ties with the podcaster before he could get up to any hanky panky behind her back.
But Jamie has vowed never to cheat on his girlfriend on the dancing show.
