Paramedics punched, pepper-sprayed in North Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two paramedics were assaulted early Monday while on a call helping a woman with a medical issue, Portland police said.

The paramedics were in the area of North Interstate and Prescott when they were attacked. One paramedic was pepper-sprayed by someone on a bike and the other was punched in the face, authorities told KOIN 6 News.

The bike rider took off and has not yet been found. But the puncher was arrested.
