Emmerdale fans in hysterics as fired headteacher Jessie Dingle launches into a drunken rant about her former pupils

EMMERDALE fans were left in hysterics this evening – after fired headteacher Jessie Dingle launched into a drunken rant about her former pupils.

Jessie had gone into The Woolpack to beg Nicola to put in a good word with the school governors so she could try and get her job back.

But Nicola refused – and said that all her problems were her own fault… especially as she rarely showed up for work.

Nicola’s comments didn’t go down well with Jessie, who lost her temper – and slated everyone’s kids.

She screamed: “How can you judge me when your kids are so out of control?

“I have humoured you for hours, letting you drone on about your precious daughter Angel, otherwise known as Satan!”

Fans at home found the whole exchange hilarious and took to Twitter to make their feelings known.

One wrote: “Jessie insulting everyone!!”

Another said: “Lol. Jessie just had her best scene. Shame it will be amongst her last. I hate everyone she mentioned too.”

A third chimed in: “Not that I’m a massive fan of Jessie but c’mon I can’t believe everyone is holding her responsible for what Maya did.”

It comes after actress Sandra Martin, who plays Jessie, announced she has quit the soap after two years.

She has been involved in several explosive story lines and admits quitting the long-running show will be a big risk.

peaking to OK! magazine, Sandra said: “My last day will be emotional. There’s definitely going to be a wobbly lip!”

Although Sandra says she is unsure whether she will ever return to Emmerdale, bosses have decided not to kill Jessie off in her exit story line.

Sandra added: “Thank God they’ve left the door open, I’m very grateful for that.”
