[Volleyball] Inside the 2019 Falcons' Volleyball Schedule

WICHITA, Kan. – The 2019 edition of the Friends University Falcons' volleyball slate will begin in a competitive environment at the KCAC Fall Fling, set for Aug. 23-24 in Hutchinson, Kan.

The Falcons will then trek to Denver, Colo. to compete in the Johnson & Wales Tournament on Aug. 30-31 before playing at Fort Hays State University on Labor Day, Sept. 2.

Following tournament dates in Baldwin City, Kan. (Baker Tournament, Sept. 6-7) and Salina, Kan. (KWU Tournament, Sept. 13-14), the Falcons will square off at KWU in a non-conference matchup on Sept. 18.

After a non-conference game at Bethany College on Sept. 20, the Falcons will be at the Garvey Center for the first time in 2019 when they host Tabor College for another non-conference tilt at 6 pm.

Next up will be the official KCAC opener for Friends at Avila University on Sept. 25 at 7 pm.

Also on the calendar is a home tri-match with McPherson College and Randall University on Oct. 5 while Ottawa University (Oct. 12), University of Saint Mary (Oct. 18), York College (Oct. 26) and Bethany College (Oct. 30) are all scheduled to visit Wichita this season.

"We are excited for the season, we have a strong schedule that we believe will allow us to step up and rise to the level of the competition that we want to be at as we roll into the postseason," Friends head coach Martin Ayin said.
