WATCH: Colts quarterback Andrew Luck suffering from more than just calf injury

Turns out it’s not just a calf injury that has sidelined Colts quarterback Andrew Luck this offseason. According to team owner Jim Irsay, there’s a bone issue in his lower left leg as well.

Irsay shared that information in a radio interview this week while assuring listeners that Luck is not at risk for an Achilles tendon injury.

“I think that after the Durant thing, everyone’s erring on the side of caution, but quite frankly this is not even in the Achilles tendon,” Irsay said. “It’s in another area. It’s a bone. You know I’m not good at these things. … It’s a small little bone.”

Luck has participated in just three practices during Colts training camp after missing all of OTAs and minicamp earlier this summer.
