Minister of economy hosts meeting with domestic exporters  

Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan has received representatives of exporting companies and the founders of Export Armenia Group to discuss the export-related problems encountered by the domestic manufacturers.

According to an official press release, the sides discussed particularly the difficulties in the export of agricultural produce across the EAEU region.

The participants briefed the minister on the main risks on the foreign markets, proposing possible solutions based on the best international practice. The special problems dealing with the exports of the small- and medium-sized enterprises were also discussed at the meeting. Additonally, the sides considered the obstacles in the shipment-related and logistical management procedures. They agreed to arrange a meeting with shipping companies to address the existing problems.  

An arrangement was also reached to involve the entrepreneurs in the elaboration of the corresponding strategic documents.
