Deal to privatize energy systems at 31 state buildings, possibly universities

(KLFY)- Louisiana reached a deal to privatize energy systems at 31 state buildings, and possibly universities.
LA Energy Partners will make energy upgrades in exchange for 54 million dollars.
They include the Louisiana Capitol, Governor’s Mansion and Louisiana Supreme Court Building.
Aside from the cash, LA Energy Partners will make money selling the extra chilled water to cool commercial buildings.
