What's been happening
End of Year Meal & AGM
For those of you that could not make it, here is a list of what was decided at the AGM.
- It was decided by the club that the exec membership discout would be removed.
- Lorna was elected as the new club treasurer.
- It was decided by the club that an alumni donation fund for expeditions would be set up. This would be supplemented by the creation of an alumni Facebook page. Further decisions on the fund could be decided at future AGMs.
- IT was decided that a statement on driver reimbursement would be added into the constitution. However, this would not include specific numbers, which are instead outlined on the driver form.
- It was decided by the club that decisions on rental length would be decided on a case by case basis at the exec's discretion.
- It was agreed by the club that the deposit system would be removed. However, in the constituion, which all members agree to, it is outlined that unreturned/damaged gear will be replaced by the person which has borrowed it.
