Bullying and harassment of advertisers is ‘sick and sinister’
Outsiders host Rowan Dean says the bullying and harassment of advertisers is “sick” and “sinister” after controversial comments made by broadcaster Alan Jones.
Mr Jones apologised after he said New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern should have a ‘sock shoved down her throat’ for pressuring Australia to increase its climate change commitment.
Mr Dean said the left “loathe” Mr Jones because he is a “wealthy and successful man who genuinely understands the fears and problems” of middle Australia.
“They can't defeat his arguments, they simply make up what he is supposed to have said, subscribing motives to his words that sound vaguely plausible only when removed entirely from context and painted in the worst possible light.”
