There have been several incidents so far this season that have looked clear fouls and have not been given after review. Man City's penalty claim last week was unbelievable.

But today, the foul on Silva was a stonewaller and a perfect situation for VAR; hard for the ref to see but a clear foul. Yet they review it and don't give it. So if VAR is not clearing up the incidents that the ref misses, what is the point of it?
