Maidstone United vs. Chelmsford City
The Stones will be looking to stretch their unbeaten run to five matches when they face Chelmsford City at the Gallagher Stadium on bank holiday Monday.
On Saturday, Maidstone got their second win of the season with a 1-0 victory away at Concord Rangers. Matt McClure has only been with the Stones just over a week but he has already scored twice, including the winner at Concord. The victory on Saturday saw the Stones move up to 12th place in the league table.
Chelmsford City are one place ahead of Maidstone United in the National League South. Like the Stones, their form at the start of the season has been mixed with two wins, two draws and two defeats. On Saturday, Chelmsford drew 1-1 with Welling United. Welling took the lead in the 84th minute but the Clarets grabbed a point thanks to an equaliser from Shaun Jeffers in the 90th minute.
