Arsenal want Kolasinac improvement in Monreal absence

Arsenal want Sead Kolasinac to step up his game this season, according to reports.

The Gunners are on the verge of selling Nacho Monreal to Real Sociedad, which would leave them with Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney at left-back.

Goal says sources at the club believe the Bosnia international needs to prove he can provide adequate competition for Tierney, who was signed from Celtic this summer.

There are concerns over Kolasinac's defensive capabilities and whether he fixes his weaknesses or not will affect whether he stays at the club beyond this season.
