It’s that time of year when the kids are back at college, weekends are filled with footballs, tailgate parties and falling leaves that take over driveways. Here at Zehnder’s, certain events signal the beginning of our Fall season: mums take the place of begonias, the aerating of The Fortress Golf Course is complete, pumpkins are beginning to spring up as decorations and our first delivery of Blue Hubbard Squash has arrived.

Maple Ginger Pear Pie Fall Class – September 17, 2019
Let us teach you from start to finish how to create a delicious fall pie. You will make pie dough from scratch, prepare your pie filling, make a beautiful lattice top crust and then assemble the unbaked pie to take home and bake and enjoy fresh from your oven. Cost is $48 per person and class limit is 18.
Caramel Pecan Pumpkin Bread Pudding and Gourmet Caramel Apple Pops Fall Class
Learn how to make a new fall family favorite. You will learn how to create a gooey caramel and pecan topped pumpkin bread pudding. While your bread pudding is baking, we will show you how to create a gourmet caramel apple pop, a new twist on an old favorite. You will take home one pan of bread pudding and 4 caramel apple pops. Cost is $48 per person with a class limit of 18.
Preparing a Delicious Brunch Fall Class
This class is specially designed for ages 13 to 17 from 9 – 11 a.m. This is a great way for a young inspiring chef to learn techniques from Lance Buchinger, Chef de Cuisine. You will be creating from start to finish a delicious Loaded Potato Quiche, Apple/Zucchini Muffins and Banana Foster French Toast Bake. You will take home a pan of French Toast Bake, 9-inch Quiche and 6 muffins along with a muffin pan to use over and over. Cost is $60 per person with a class limit of 18.
Apple Raisin Cinnamon Bread and Apple Zucchini Muffins Fall Class
We will teach you how to make our delightfully tasty apple raisin cinnamon bread, a chopped bread dough mixed together with a sweet cinnamon filling. Once you’ve finished your bread, you will learn how to create delicious apple zucchini muffins. You will take home one loaf of bread, 6 muffins and a muffin pan. Cost is $50 each and class limit is 18.
