Check Out Jim’s Duke-Alabama Q&A With RollBamaRoll.com
As usual, Jim is on top of things
Jim Sumner did a really outstanding Q&A with SBN’s Alabama site rollbamaroll.com.
He delves into a lot of stuff about Duke’s quarterback situation, receivers, defense and freshmen who should start or contribute.
Here’s a quick quote: “Two true freshmen should start against Alabama, Calhoun at wide receiver and Monk at right tackle. Monk is 6-3, 300 and came to Duke as a center/guard. But he came in early, moved to tackle and beat out incumbent Robert Kraeling, a player Alabama recruited. Monk’s father Stanley was a running back at Duke and his late uncle Quincy played linebacker at UNC and in the NFL. So, he knows his way around the gridiron. Monk has drawn raves from his coaches and teammates. His ability to keep Alabama’s edge rushers off Harris will go a long way to determining if Duke can make the game competitive.“
