Celebs Go Dating viewers accuse Megan Barton-Hanson and Demi Sims of forcing kiss for the cameras at finale before split

CELEBS Go Dating fans were left unconvinced by Megan Barton-Hanson and Demi Sims as they snogged at the wrap party tonight – weeks before they split.

Love Island star Megan, 25, and Towie’s Demi, 22, – who have only just split up – put on a loving display at the finale but viewers branded them “contrived” and “unnatural”.

After dating other people – men and women – throughout the show the pair ended up together.

Demi said she hoped Megan was “the one” and couldn’t deny their connection.

The pair snogged for the cameras and held hands – but viewers were left cold by their relationship.

Especially as the pair quickly split up once the cameras stopped rolling.

Despite breaking agency rules by getting together, the pair snogged in front of crowds at the wrap party as they flaunted their romance.

After filming the show, things soon turned sour and The Sun exclusively revealed Megan and Demi split following a string of jealous rows.

A source close to her said Demi made the decision to end things because Megan could not handle the attention her girlfriend was getting.

They said: “Demi broke up with Megan because Megan’s too insecure about the amount of attention Demi gets.

“They’ve unfollowed and blocked each other now.”

A spokesman for Megan insisted Demi was the first to block the other person on social media.

They went on to say because of her age and “differences in their lives”, Megan couldn’t continue in the relationship which

Demi, 21, reacted badly to.

Since then Megan has since grown close to Kylie Minogue’s songwriter Chelcee Grimes who was seen comforting the sobbing star in the street.
