Saturday has some smashing opportunities to fill the pockets and I’m heading to Sandown and Beverley for the afternoon’s big treble.

Leg 1

2.05 Beverley – Desert Icon

William Haggas’ improving colt finished a fine second behind a sharp improver at Newmarket last time out and should go one better now.

He was four lengths clear of the third, Victory Chime, who has since won and this looks a weaker contest.

Leg 2

2.25 Sandown – Country

It could be a good day for William Haggas as his rapidly improving three-year-old should collect the Betway Heed Your Hunch Handicap.

He made a big impression visually at Redcar last time out in first-time cheekpieces and a 5lb rise will surely underestimate him.

Leg 3

3.00 Sandown – Jubiloso

Sir Michael Stoute’s contender has form head and shoulders above her rivals and should be able to strike dropped in grade.

She was a fine third in the Coronation Stakes and is miles clear on ratings. She can finish off the treble in style.
