Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs died by choking on vomit with alcohol and opioids in system
Tyler Skaggs died of “alcohol, fentanyl and oxycodone intoxication with terminal aspiration of gastric contents," according to a coroner’s report first obtained by the Los Angeles Times on Friday.
He choked on his own vomit, and the death, at 27 years old, has been ruled an accident.
