Duke Recruiting: Terrence Clarke Cuts List, Sets Date

Moving along quickly now

Terrence Clarke has cut his list to six - Memphis, Duke, Texas Tech, Boston College, Kentucky and UCLA where Mick Cronin is, if nothing else, recruiting aggressively.

Not to knock BC - the Eagles have been good and will be again and we think highly of Jim Christian - but they’re the outliers in this group. It’d be interesting to see what persuaded him to include them. It’s very exiting news for BC fans. To this point Christian has basically made his bones by finding vastly under appreciated talents like Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman. It’s great for that program and fan base to be in it for a major prospect.

He’s also apparently strongly considering reclassifying to 2020. There have been a lot of rumors about that but nothing concrete.

However the fact that he’s going to announce on September 14th suggests that he will be moving up.
