[Volleyball] Bearcats Fall in First Individual Match of Season

The Brescia volleyball team traveled to Georgetown, Kentucky on Thursday night to compete in its first individual road test for the 2019 season by taking on Georgetown College, falling to the Tigers 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.

The Bearcats, who participated in two weekend tournaments to start the year, entered the match with a 7-1 record (tying for the best start in program history) but was unable to keep their momentum going despite a strong hitting performance by middle blocker Tonya Tivitt (SR, Hardinsburg, Ky.)
