Irish republican march in Glasgow to go ahead this weekend, despite riots last week

Irish republican marches will go ahead in Glasgow as planned this weekend, despite a similar parade causing a riot last week. Glasgow City Council had authorised the marches, but looked again at the decision after “significant disorder” in Govan on Friday after counter-protesters met an Irish Unity march.
