Karnataka BJP ramps up efforts to conquer Vokkaliga bastion, may engineer more JD(S) defections

With JD(S) influence waning and influential Congress leader DK Shivakumar in Enforcement Directorate’s custody, the BJP has set its eyes on the Vokkaliga heartland of Old Mysuru region to widen its political base in Karnataka.
