Firefighting training set for Wildcat Hills wildlife area

GERING, Neb. (AP) - The Gering Fire Department will lead fire training exercises on public land in the Panhandle for the annual West Nebraska Engine Academy.

The exercises are scheduled for Sept. 14 and 15 at Cedar Canyon Wildlife Management Area in the Wildcat Hills.
