Family Guy: Brian & Stewie's Worst Crimes They Should Be In Jail For
Brian and Stewie should be in jail for all the crimes they've committed on Family Guy. The animated comedy from Seth McFarlane has been one of the biggest hits for Fox over the last decade. After originally canceling the series, Family Guy found new life and its audience through reruns. Since returning in 2005, the adventures of Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, and Stewie Griffin have repeatedly entertained viewers.
Much of the success of Family Guy can be attributed to its characters, humor, and creativity. Throughout Family Guy's 20 years, though, the characters have undoubtedly been tested and pushed to the edge. For Family Guy, specifically, this can often lead to violent outbursts. Peter should be in prison for everything he's done on the show, but he isn't the only member of the Griffin family who should be behind bars.
The latest Screen Rant video highlights why Stewie and Brian should also be in jail based on their crimes. Stewie and Brian might be a baby and dog, respectively, but they are much smarter and more mature than the average toddler or animal. From kidnapping to damage of property to attempted murder, it is a miracle that both of them are still roaming the streets. Check out the video at the top of this post for a full rundown of Brian and Stewie's crimes.
Of the two, Stewie probably has the lengthier rap sheet. He drove the family car without a license and wrecked it, and has repeatedly tried to kill his mother Lois. But, one of the worst things he's done that should've put him behind bars is kidnapping several Springfield residents during the crossover with The Simpsons. Even though Stewie is a complicated character who has done some terrible things, Brian has possibly done the worst thing. He once murdered a random civilian for no reason and even let a mother and her baby drown in a car crash. Thanks to the loose judicial system that Family Guy plays with, Brian and Stewie continue to be free.
However, they were once arrested, just not for anything mentioned in the video. Brian and Stewie once tweeted that "Broad City is just okay" and immediately had the internet police kicking down the Griffin household's door. They were immediately detained and locked up in the usual orange jumpsuits. It isn't clear how long Brian and Stewie were behind bars, but they have not been back together since. Stewie once was locked up by himself for showing his private parts during Mardi Gras, too. With all the terrible things they've done, it is typical Family Guy that they have only been arrested for a tweet and public indecency.
