Report: Spurs handed a welcome £51.5m boost in the transfer market
Tottenham Hotspur certainly had a busy transfer window this summer to say the least, especially when compared to the summer of 2018.
Spurs managed to bring in Giovani Lo Celso on loan and Jack Clarke, Tanguy Ndombele, and Ryan Sessegnon on permanent deals.
They also waved goodbye to Fernando Llorente, Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Kieran Trippier, Marcus Edwards, and more.
As a result of Daniel Levy’s sales and releases over the summer, Football London report that the club made £51.5m. This comes from both transfer fees and wage savings.
The report claims that Trippier left for £20m, Janssen for £8m, and Nkoudou for £4m, with Josh Onomah going as part of the Sessegnon deal but said to be rated at £5m.
