Another tropical storm is already threatening the Bahamas
The same Bahamas islands destroyed by Hurricane Dorian are in danger once again.
The government of the Bahamas has placed its northwest islands under a tropical storm warning, the National Hurricane Center said Thursday evening. That includes the Abacos and Grand Bahama Island, essentially the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Dorian last week.
While cautioning that "uncertainty in the forecast is higher than usual," the NHC said the unnamed cyclone is "expected" to bring tropical storm-force wind and rain to the northwestern Bahamas sometime in the next 36 hours. It is "not expected" to bring "a significant storm surge" to the area, the NHC continued.

The potential tropical storm comes just as the northern Bahamas start what are sure to be massive relief and cleanup efforts after Hurricane Dorian. The storm hit Abaco Island as a Category 5 and left total devastation in its wake, but victims are having a hard time heading to the U.S. for food and shelter as the Trump administration remains reluctant to take in even temporary refugees.
