Ulster A team named for Leinster test
The Ulster A team has been confirmed for Saturday’s Celtic Cup Round 4 trip to play Leinster at Energia Park, Donnybrook (kick-off 3.00pm).
Ulster coaches Kieran Campbell and Willie Anderson have added some considerable experience to their forward pack, for what is set be a difficult test away to the reigning champions.
Andy Warwick and Adam McBurney are named in the front row alongside Peter Cooper, who scored a brace of tries in the Round 3 win over Connacht.
In the second row, Jack Regan is paired with David O’Connor, who got his first taste of senior action in the pre-season win against Glasgow last Saturday.
Flanker Marcus Rea will captain the side and he is joined in the back row by Abbey Insurance Academy prospects Azur Allison and David McCann.
Nathan Doak and Bruce Houston continue their partnership at half-back, with Ross Adair shifting into the midfield alongside Hayden Hyde.
Graham Curtis and Ethan McIlroy, who both made try-scoring cameo appearances against Glasgow, take up the wing berths, with Conor Rankin at fullback.
