Bears tight end Trey Burton and nose tackle Eddie Goldman are questionable for Broncos game

Nose tackle Eddie Goldman was limited Friday after sitting out Thursday’s practice. He hurt his oblique during Wednesday’s practice.

Bears tight end Trey Burton is, as expected, questionable for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. He finished a week of practice, all on a limited basis, Friday as he continues to recover from a groin injury.

“I feel better this week than I did last week,” Nagy said.

Burton, who Nagy said would be a game-time decision, was one of four players ruled questionable. Nose tackle Eddie Goldman was limited Friday after sitting out Thursday’s practice. He hurt his oblique during Wednesday’s practice.

Linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski and defensive end Bilal Nichols were both limited with knee injuries Friday — and ruled questionable. Nichols will play Sunday, though — the team merely holds him out of Friday practices on the turf of their indoor facility.

Burton said this week that, as frustrated as he was by not being able to play in the Bears’ season-opening loss, he was truly day-to-day.
