We’re looking at you Comcast

This...well this is pretty amazing to contemplate, particularly from a local perspective: the ACC and ESPN are considering, or at least leaving open the possibility, of moving one or both Duke-UNC games to the ACC Network which, we’re pretty sure, would ratchet the pressure on cable companies that haven’t picked it up to about 12 on the Richter scale.

If there is a Richter scale for pissed off television consumers that is.

As Luke DeCock reports, the conference is swinging the biggest hammer it has.

Even though locally we understand it’s a big rivalry and we’re proud of it, other than that whole two decades of we-don’t-have-to-go-to-class thing over there, but it still blows you away to realize that that little slice of basketball paradise is such a big deal in other places.

Around here it’s a big deal but we’re used to it. People who live down the street from the Louvre probably complain about the damn traffic. No one fully appreciates the great things that are close.
