Macron ally faces demands for his resignation after he's accused of corruption

FRENCH opposition leaders on Thursday made growing calls for the resignation of parliament speaker Richard Ferrand, after investigating judges charged the close ally of President Emmanuel Macron with conflict of interest over a property deal.
