Man shot, killed in Englewood: police
He was in the 6000 block of South LaSalle Street when someone in a silver SUV fired shots, police said.
A 29-year-old man was shot and killed Friday in Englewood on the South Side, according to police.
He was standing on the street about 11:24 p.m. in the 6000 block of South LaSalle Street when someone in a silver-colored SUV opened fire, Chicago police said.
The man suffered gunshot wounds to his head and body, police said. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on his death.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
