Victoria Beckham admits she had concerns about her marriage to David before their 20-year anniversary trip to Paris

VICTORIA Beckham has admitted she was worried about her marriage to David before their 20-year wedding anniversary trip to Paris.

The 45-year-old and former footballer David, 44, jetted out to the city of love to mark their milestone in July but the fashion designer was concerned she’d have nothing to talk to him about before they went.

She told The Telegraph Magazine: “I said to David, ‘God, what will we have to say to each other when it’s just us?’ But we talked and laughed the whole time, and not even about the kids or work.

“He’s better at sending me up. But hey, what a relief – we’ll be OK, even when they’ve left all left home.”

David organised an exclusive private tour of the Palace of Versailles during their anniversary trip.

Sharing a picture of them two decades on from their lavish 1999 nuptials, Victoria told her fans: “A private tour, dream come true!! Nous avons eu le privilège de vivre un moment magique au Château de Versailles. X Kisses @davidbeckham #howromantic @chateauversailles”

The caption translates as: “We had the privilege of experiencing a magical moment at the Château de Versailles.”

In another caption, she wrote: “The most incredible visit on a very special day. Thank u to everyone who made it so memorable and all our family and friends for always supporting us as a family. Can’t believe it’s been 20 years! So many kisses xxx VB”

The famous couple said their “I do”s on July 4, 1999, with their first-born Brooklyn as their ring bearer.

Posh and Becks sat on golden thrones at the altar and reportedly spent around £500,000 on the big day.

The pair are parents to Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
