The Wells booked their place in the FA Vase first round proper with a ruthless display at home to Knaphill.

Danny Powell continued his excellent start to the season by opening the scoring for The Wells on 19mins.

Josh Froggatt doubled The Wells lead with a blistering strike from outside the area 2mins later.

Angel Zapata closed the deficit on 31mins when he netted from a rare Knaphill attack.

Captain Freeman Rogers restored The Wells two goal cushion when he headed home a corner.

The Wells dominated the second half but had to wait until substitute Euan Sahadow arrived and made an instant impact from the bench when he finished a excellent solo run in the Knaphill area on 81mins

Knaphill were reduced to ten men on 82mins when Carlo Santoro saw a straight red for a reckless challenge.
