Meet the England Rugby World Cup WAGs – including a Michelle Keegan Lookalike, Una Healy’s best mate and cosmetic nurse
WITH just days to go before the Rugby World Cup starts in Japan, our lads are gearing up for their first game against Tonga on Sunday.
And while our boys will hopefully be bringing magic to the pitch, their WAGS will be adding a touch of glamour to the stands.
Here, we meet the lovely ladies supporting the first team.
The Michelle Keegan lookalike
Jessica Portman, 26, is a business and fashion marketing graduate who owns her own flagship boutique in London, called Portman.
The brunette, who is originally from Bath, has amassed an Instagram following of over 14,000 since she started dating star player George Ford.
On her page, she shares snaps of her YSL and Gucci handbags – which start at £1,000 each.
Jess met the Oldham native in 2013, but they didn’t actually start dating until a year later, when Jess eventually agreed to go on a date with him.
She has been engaged to the 26-year-old England and Leicester Tigers fly-half since July.
George credits Jess for giving him a balanced work and home life, previously saying: “You’ve got to live a normal life at home and it’s hugely important to get that right.
“It can be pretty full on week in week out at the club and when you’re going away playing games it’s nice to come home and be relaxed in a good environment when you can switch off every evening and watch some rubbish on TV.
“Simple things like that are important.”
The star player’s wife
Despite him being one of England’s star men, Owen Farrell’s wife Georgie likes to keep her life extremely private.
The couple, both 27, married in the summer of 2018 and Georgie gave birth to their son, Tommy, in March.
However, the Saracens’ head coach Mark McCall, revealed Farrell, from Manchester, was so dedicated to the game that he called him to say he could play in the Champions Cup quarter-final against Glasgow – despite Georgie being in hospital giving birth to their baby boy.
Una Healy’s best mate
Piers Francis, 29, and Amanda McClatchie are expecting their first child, a baby boy, at Christmas, a year after getting engaged in France.
The couple have been dating for several years, and she even accompanied him to New Zealand in 2015, where he went to play for Counties Manukau.
She’s multi-talented – a former lawyer and broadcaster who now has her own nutrition marketing company.
Amanda is also best friends with Saturdays babe Una Healy, after meeting when Francis, from Kent, played alongside Una’s ex, Ben Foden, for Northampton saints in 2017.

The plastic surgery nurse
Ben and Charlotte, nee Beardshaw – who is a Cosmetic Nurse at The Hospital Group – are believed to have met during a charity show organised for veteran doctors and physiologists in London.
She’s trained in skin peels, Botox, fillers and dermaroller, according to her LinkedIn account.
They married in 2015 and have two young children, three-year-old Boris and 20-month-old Billie.
Hard-working Charlotte is believed to still be juggling her work and being a mum to the youngsters, as well as supporting the Leicester Tigers scrumhalf’s career.
While she keeps a low profile, Youngs, 30, can’t resist gushing about her on social media, and last year posted a photo of her running the London Marathon, writing, “So proud of my super human wife.”
The events planner
Anthony Watson has made the team after a horrendous Archilles injury which took him 13 months to recover from.
Luckily, the 25-year-old Bath player had been supported by his American girlfriend, events planner Alyse.
“My partner Alyse has been awesome keeping my morale high. It’s been tough dealing with me bed-bound and miserable but she’s passed with flying colours!”
Alyse is also BFFs and colleague’s with former WAG Eloise Harris – who dated Watson’s England teammate Jonathon Joseph for four years until he allegedly cheated on her with Casey Batchelor in 2015.
The private school sweetheart
Saracens flanker Elliot Daly met his gorgeous girlfriend Michelle Cussell when he was still at school.
The pair met at the £18,618-a-year Whitgift School for boys in Croydon, south London, where Daly, 28, was a pupil and she worked as a sports events organiser – although they were both 18 at the time.
In 2017, he dropped knee in Mykonos, saying, “I finally asked the love of my life to marry me! She thankfully said yes. I’m really looking forward to what the future brings.”

The blonde bombshell
Two days before he joined the team out in Japan last week, Luke Cowan-Dickie, 26, revealed he was going to be a dad for the first time with his partner of two years, Chloe Rose.
Chloe, 27, from Cornwall, is a supportive girlfriend and attends most of the Exeter Chief prop’s games.
In their anniversary tribute, Chloe – who is a fan of Instagram bikini shots – wrote: “Thanks for asking me to be your girlfriend, or I would have ended up on The Undateables.”
The mummy blogger
Not that you can tell from her flawless figure, but Jessica Lawes has four children with her Northampton Saints flanker husband, Courtney, 30.
The couple tied the knot with a lavish wedding ceremony in July 2015.
Last year, property developer and blogger Jessica revealed her fears of their children following in their dad’s footsteps as she would worry their safety.
She said: “I don’t know if I would want them to play rugby. I would be running onto the pitch telling them to stop.”
