PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A registered sex offender was arrested after several reported incidents involving women in Gresham.

According to court documents, Tamo Robinson walked uninvited into a woman’s apartment on August 24. Court documents said the 29-year-old woman heard the knob turn and door open. She saw the man and told him to get out.

The intruder walked out without saying anything.

Robinson is also accused of following female employees around and trying to get into the Albertina Kerr facility near that apartment complex on Sept. 16. He reportedly told police he thought his cousin might work there.

Then on September 17, Robinson allegedly spoke to a 16-year-old girl doing her laundry at a laundromat on Northeast 162nd And Northeast Glisan. Court documents said he asked her age and told her he thought she was 11 or 12. Then he reportedly made a sexual comment to her and she ran out, afraid he would rape her.

Court document said a group of the victim’s family members came to the laundromat and confronted the suspect. A police officer showed up and calmed everyone down, then arrested Robinson.

He faces charges of luring a minor, attempted sexual abuse, first-degree criminal trespass and 2nd-degree criminal trespass.

Robinson is a registered sex offender with previous convictions for rape, kidnapping and burglary. He is also on probation for robbery and coercion.
