A VIOLENT tropical storm is set to batter Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, bringing a torrential downpour and the threat of flash flooding with it. Currently blowing its way across the Atlantic, Storm Karen is expected to hit mainland by Tuesday. Is it still safe for holidaymakers to head to the region?
