Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announce today that they have placed the following players on waivers for purpose of assignment to Stockton (AHL): Byron Froese (C), Justin Kirkland (LW), Andrew Nielsen (LD), Buddy Robinson (RW) and Rinat Valiev (LD).
Calgary has 44 players remaining at training camp (5x goalies, 14x defensemen, 25x forwards).
