Video: Former West Ham player backs Pochettino to turn things around at Spurs
Former West Ham United and QPR midfielder Trevor Sinclair has backed Mauricio Pochettino to turn things around at Tottenham Hotspur during an appearance on talkSPORT.
Spurs were on the receiving end of a humiliating Carabao Cup third round exit at the hands of League Two outfit Colchester United last night.
The club’s start to the new season has been far from impressive after only managing to win two of their opening six Premier League matches whilst also throwing away a two-goal lead in the opening Champions League match against Olympiacos.
Sinclair believes that Pochettino has the qualities to stop the rot in North London. Up until yesterday, the Argentine had progressed from 21 of his 22 domestic cup ties from outside the top flight, including all 18 in English football.
"I think Pochettino will turn it around."
"He cares about the football club, the players and the fans." ????
