Liverpool FC Release Official Statement Regarding Thomas Cook

The British travel company offered match accommodations in partnership with Liverpool prior to the company dissolving earlier this week. Earlier this week, travel company and airline Thomas Cook was officially liquidated. Coming out of that news was a spate of panic from people who’d made arrangements with the company suddenly finding vacation plans derailed or, worse, stranded with no clarity as to how to make it back from a trip.
For Liverpool fans, especially those from abroad, the news was likely met with a grimace given that Thomas Cook partnered with Liverpool FC to provide accommodations and travel for fans making the trip to Anfield elsewhere.
