Beaverton Boy Scout troop’s trailer, camping gear stolen
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Beaverton Boy Scout troop’s trailer was stolen on Thursday, said the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The theft was first reported on Thursday, September 26, at about 7:30 p.m. by an adult member of the troop. He said the trail is typically stored at a local church. The troop member estimates the trailer was stolen sometime between Sunday, September 22, and Thursday, September 26.
The trailer is described as a white, covered, 6-by-12-foot trailer without any distinct markings. On it was Oregon license plate U292100. The troop uses it to store their camping and cooking gear—it holds enough equipment for 35 people.
