SOUP – Re:Nourish Immunity’s Kale, Spinach & Turmeric Soup is billed as the world’s first grab-and-go soup, as it can be heated and drunk straight from the bottle, then resealed.
It is packed with vitamins but only has 155 calories per 500g serving and 1.4 per cent fat. With an earthy and tasty flavour, it is £2.89 per 500g at renourish.co.uk.
CRISPS – A seriously tasty surprise. Salad Crisps are a guilt-free snack, with no wheat, corn or even potato. I tried the Tangy Tomato & Feta flavour.
Wafer-thin and crispy, they look like Pringles but taste like fresh tomatoes.
An amazing punch and one of your five a day. 91 kcal per 20g tub.
High in fat because of the cheese but I loved them. £1.79 per tub, see satisfiedsnacks.co.uk.
JUICE – 780g of organic carrots feature in each 500ml bottle of Biotta purple carrot juice.
Purple carrots have 28 times more of the anti-oxidant anthocyanins than orange ones and are great for eye health and circulation. £4.50 per bottle, see avogel.co.uk.

BUDGET – The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%, 30ml (£8.99, boots.com): A water-soluble derivative of vitamin C.
This wasn’t one of my favourites, as it was a bit sticky and took a while to sink in. But it did give a slight glow. For the price it’s a great way to try out a vitamin C serum.
MID-RANGE – Sesderma C-vit Mist, 30ml (£18.26, sesderma.co.uk): The great thing about this is that you spray it on, so there is no waste on your hand.
Plus you can use it after you’ve put on your make-up. It contains ascorbic acid and gives a slight tingle/sting, even after you’ve put on make-up.
It is a little bit sticky for a couple of minutes, but a good idea.

LUXURY – Obagi Professional C Serum with L-Ascorbic Acid, 30ml (£96.80, obagi.uk.com): Ascorbic acid is the only form of vitamin C the skin can effectively absorb, so you get a concentrated hit of vitamin C.
Comes in different strengths to suit skin type and gives an amazing, instant glow.
My favourite – despite the hefty price.
