I find it difficult to blame individuals, as it is often the relationships and connections which either work, or don't. I don't currently dislike any of our players, although I enjoy watching some more than others.
I think Bamford has shown in the past that he is technically capable of being a very good finisher. Whether he's not currently doing it through lack of confidence, or lack of understanding, or connection with his teammates, I don't know.
I have felt that we should persevere with him, that goals will come, and that we would lose more in the long run by dropping him and knocking his confidence. After today though, I think that something has to change.
